During your consultation, your therapist will ask some general questions about what brings you to therapy, your goals & expectations, and any previous experience with therapy. Your therapist will then discuss their approach to what you’d like to work on and how they can help. You’ll then discuss the administrative pieces for moving forward with sessions.

Yes! We accept Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, Optum, UMR, Aetna, and Cigna.

You will be charged either your copay or coinsurance depending on your individual plan. We are required to give the insurance company a diagnosis in order to receive reimbursement. Your insurance company can also request from us copies of your notes or a treatment summary. Should you not want to give them access, you are welcome to utilize private pay for your appointments where we do not bill your insurance.

You are welcome to request to not use your insurance and utilize private pay. Our current private pay rate is $135 for individual counseling and $150 for couples counseling.
